Who we are

Commodity Capital Connect LTD is a privately owned Trade Finance Support Company that was registered in December 2014 with the Dubai Multi Commodity Centre, but started business in March 2015.

Commodity Connect focuses on assisting commodity trade players (traders, banks and investors) in the structuring, monitoring and management of trade finance transactions.

We help the above players to create new growth opportunities by creating synergy with our strategic partners, mainly in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The team comprises of well experienced bankers with over 25 year’s trade finance experience. There are currently 9 full time employees, all ex-bankers (from Standard Chartered, ITFC, Absa, Barclays, Natexis, Ecobank, and Attijariwafa).

The head office is located in Dubai with branches in the below countries,

• Kenya
• Ghana
• Morocco
• Switzerland

From Inception, the company has arranged over US$570M trade financing for banks and corporates with a disbursement rate of 60% mainly in Sub Saharan Africa.

The Board consist of four non Executives and one Executive Director and all Board members are seasoned bankers from across the globe.
